We are excited to expand our already established private practice. We are passionate about delivering high-quality treatment to people who suffer from complex and challenging mental health problems. We are an innovative and evidence-based private practice serving clients who suffer from PTSD, substance use disorders, suicidality and self-injury, personality disorders, anxiety, and mood disorders. We work from a cognitive behavioral and constructivist orientation (CBT, DBT, MI, PE, ACT, EMDR) and run a comprehensive DBT program. Several openings are available for licensed or licensed eligible psychologists, licensed masters level psychotherapists, and post-doctoral fellows in psychology. We offer the opportunities of a private practice setting (flexible schedule, vacation time, and caseload, etc.) without the administrative and business overhead.
Several opportunities are available for qualified candidates. Our clinicians are also strongly encouraged to pursue their own clinical interests, including work with different presenting problems and client populations.
For candidates interested in joining our comprehensive DBT program. This position involves participating in our DBT team, facilitating DBT skills groups, and providing individual DBT therapy and phone coaching. We also utilize DBT-PE to treat clients in our DBT program who also suffer from posttraumatic stress disorder, and DBT-SUD to help those with substance use disorders.
Opportunities are also available to focused on treating clients who suffer from anxiety, depression, OCD, substance use, and trauma-based disorders. We utilized a variety of evidence-based and emerging therapies to address those struggling with complex problems.

Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Psychology Trainee Positions
Licensed Staff Psychologist Positions
DBT Team: Strong candidates for our DBT team position will be foundationally or intensively trained in DBT, and be either certified in DBT by DBT-LBC or be willing to pursue DBT certification. Individuals will join our DBT consultation team and will provide individual DBT, facilitate DBT skills training groups, and provide DBT phone coaching to adolescents, families, and/or adults. Applicants who have additional training in the treatment of substance use disorders, and posttraumatic stress disorder are preferred. Traumatic Stress and Anxiety Team: Strong applicants for out anxiety and traumatic stress track position will be trained in EMDR and/or PE. Qualifications

Doctoral degree (PhD, PsyD) in psychology from an APA/CPA accredited institution, and completion of an APA/CPA accredited internship

Licensed or eligible to pursue licensure in the state of Colorado. If pursuing licensure, candidates must be registered with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) as a qualified licensure candidate (Psychologist Candidate)

Clinical Psychology Post-Doctoral Fellowship
Abbott Therapeutic Solutions is an innovative evidence-based private practice serving clients with complex and difficult-to-treat problems. The goals of Abbott Therapeutic Solutions’ Clinical Psychology Fellowship are to provide advanced training for early career psychologists who have an interest in working with dynamic clinical populations, and to help further the skills, knowledge, and professional competence necessary to treat challenging clinical presentations. The fellowship is full time and requires a two year commitment.
Fellows will have the opportunity to work with a broad range of age groups and evidence-based treatment interventions. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a primary treatment modality at Abbott Therapeutic Solutions, and a full range of adherent DBT services are provided. Fellows will receive extensive training in DBT and will work as an integral part of the DBT treatment team. They will participate in weekly DBT team meetings and will have the opportunity to facilitate DBT skills groups, and provide individual therapy and phone coaching to DBT clients. Psychological and neuropsychological testing is an optional experience for those with an interest and the requisite experience in administration, interpretation, and report writing. Additionally, fellows are encouraged to pursue their own clinical interests and there are opportunities to serve different client populations.
Quality supervision (both individual and group) is seen as a critical and valued component of training. Fellows will be directly supported by an individual licensed supervisor. Through a close supervisory relationship fellows will develop the advanced skills and professional competency necessary to successfully treat complex clinical presentations. Fellows will receive a competitive compensation package and will work in our downtown Boulder, CO office.

Clinical Psychology Doctoral Practicum/Externship
Abbott Therapeutic Solutions is an innovative evidence-based private practice serving clients with complex and difficult-to-treat problems. The goals of Abbott Therapeutic Solutions’ Clinical Psychology Practicum are to provide supervised training for doctoral students in psychology who have an interest in working with dynamic clinical populations, and to help trainees further the skills and knowledge necessary to practice as a psychologist. The practicum is unpaid and runs for a full training year, from September through the following August, and requires student involvement of 12-16 hours per week.
Students will have the opportunity to work with a broad range of age groups and evidence-based treatment interventions. Psychological testing, including neuropsychological testing is an optional experience for students interested in administering and interpreting psychological/neuropsychological assessment batteries and in writing comprehensive reports. Testing experiences are dependent upon available referrals.
Quality supervision (both individual and group) is seen as a critical and valued component of training. Students will be closely supported by an individual licensed supervisor. Additionally, students will participate in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) consultation team meetings where they can gain experience with case presentations and theoretical application. Through a close supervisory relationship students will develop professional self-confidence and the ability to meaningfully integrate theory with practice. At the completion of the practicum, they will have acquired a breadth of clinical experience that will enhance their candidacy for an APA approved pre-doctoral internship.
